I discovered the Witcher boardgame through my friends Charlie and Jill, and while we have never finished a full game it has been so much fun that I really wanted to get the minis for it painted.

Unfortunately, I don’t think the creators of the game ever intended these to be painted because the quality of the sculpts is… rough. I cleaned up a few of the most noticeable mould lines but it wasn’t worth trying to correct every little issue. Instead I tried to paint them in such a way as to disguise some of the flaws, or leaned into them and made them part of the character.
In the end, I think they turned out well enough. They’re all clearly identifiable as the character, and I was even able to match the box art fairly well so I’m happy with the results.

Those are very nicely done. Great work.
Cheers,
Pete.
